I am excited to tell you that I will be offering an Introduction to Judaism class at the JCC in San Francisco, 3200 California Street. Begins this Wednesday, April 3. 7:00 -8:30 PM

ALL ARE WELCOME!

This class is for those curious about joining the Jewish people, as well as cultural Jews curious to learn more. How does one even begin to enter the vast body of “Judaism”? Come to our class! We will be guided by Rabbi Me’irah Iliinsky, through a different portal each week: Modern history, including the break out of the various movements, the yearly calendar cycle, the personal life cycle; a survey of our sacred texts, our most holy day, Shabbat. Lastly we will take up the siddur, our prayerbook, primary in our spiritual tool kit. All questions warmly invited.
