Portion of the Ahavah Rabbah prayer which precedes the Shema.

This beautiful prayer describes God's love for us (in the section just before the one quoted above) and asks God for the qualities of wisdom and the spiritual ability to carry forth these wise teachings into the world. So often when we pray, we run these important words together, without giving each one enough time to consider it deeply. I decided to honor each of the words, by making a separate painting for each one, so that each one will have its due.
